Victor Maslyakov opened department of rehabilitation treatment at policlinic No. 2
On the eve of the Day of the City, the Head of Petrozavodsk Urban Okrug Victor Maslyakov officially opened the department of rehabilitation treatment at city policlinic No. 2. The mayor of the capital of Karelia noted “doctors, people and authorities of Petrozavodsk have long been waiting for this to happen (about 50 thousand people visit the policlinic).It is a great present for people for our common holiday, the Day of the City”. Victor Maslyakov also thanked those who took part in the work, and then he made a present to doctors, a certificate for installing a modern ultrasonic investigation device made by Siemens.
Reconstruction of the building started in 2006. Since then, reception area and the lobby were completely reconstructed, windows were replaced, façade was refurbished, surrounding territory was developed and some greenery was planted. The costs for design estimates, purchase of equipment and construction work made 33 492 600 RUR.
The manager of the policlinic Arkadii Rutgaizer said that now receptionists have PCs, “electronic waiting list” had been introduced, social IDs had been developed and would be provided to people. In the nearest future it will be possible to book time for meeting not only a surgeon, but specialists as well with the help of the electronic waiting list. The cost of the work was 1 300 000 RUR.
For people with special needs, a ramp was made and doors were enlarged in the offices used by this category of patients more often (remedial gymnastics, mechanical treatment, ergotherapy). The policlinic has got a special elevator and a toilet. The cost of those works was 1 500 000 RUR.
The attic floor has been reconstructed. The new firth floor holds administrative and economic department and some auxiliary offices.
“It is thanks to additional space that the department of rehabilitation treatment was established”, said the manager of the policlinic Arkadii Rutgaizer.Because of that working conditions of specialists improved, and it means that the level of services has improved as well”.
