Fair of initiatives of the youth

On October 25, 2008, in Petrozavodsk, VIII City Fair of initiatives of the youth will be held. The main goal of the Fair is to inform residents and guests of the city about municipal, public and noncommercial projects in the area of youth policies.

Organizers of the Fair are the Dept. of Youth Affairs of the Administration of Petrozavodsk Urban Okrug and NGO “Union of Children’s and Youth Non-governmental Organizations of Karelia”. The Fair will be conducted in the framework of the implementation of municipal target program of Petrozavodsk Urban Okrug “Youth Policy of the City of Petrozavodsk” for 2007–2010.

Organizations invited to participate in the Fair:

• Children’s and youth non-governmental organizations and unions;

• Student, school and other youth unions;

• Local clubs;

• Municipal and extracurricular education facilities.

Organizations should select current projects interesting for the youth of the city, information about which might be presented in the format of an information board, video presentation, electronic presentation etc.

Deadline for the applications for participation in the Fair is October 10, 2008.
